THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Bryce 4 scene file In Bryce 5

Ok, I broke down. I bought Bryce 5. I really don't want to turn this post into whether or not to get Bryce 5, because I do have aproblem. There was an animation I made in 4 a while ago that I never rendered because it was going to take days. I thought it would be great to network render it with 5. But when I open, it just goes haywire. It's hopelessly screwed up. When I move the timeline, the camera doesn't follow the path, when I move the other camera, he scene becomes a tiny dot, etc. This is obviously really strange. Has there been a problem with importing animation scene files in to 5 or do I just need to tweak something? If it's a problem is there a workaround? Your comments and suggestions are appreciated!

I've encountered that too. Also sometimes my br4 .obp models get their colors and maps messed up. I don't know of anyway to getting around it, maybe it's in a future bug fix.

It sounds more like a bug than a settings issues - I would contact Corel directly and see what they say. TomD
