It is made of a smooth metal in the shape of an enclosed kayak. If you spin it, it will reverse direction by itself.

Ha Ha, you're kidding right?!

Shaped like this only made of solid metal.

LOL

For some reason this reminds me of Tara's first scene from True Blood.

Still my favorite scene of hers in the show.

The oracle states that a coracle is a kinda a kayak. Or was that Dr. Seuss?

Which looks like a tippe top I guess? :)

No, I wasn't kidding :)

Other than what I posted, I have no clue what you are referring to.

Is it a kids toy you are looking for?

Thank you so much. I never knew the name. The purple one in the Wiki video is it!

Now has anyone seen one for Poser or an object?!

Awww, I don't have a prize but you get the satisfaction of beating everyone else even PhilC!

monkeycloud ( ) posted Thu, 02 August 2012 at 8:27 AM

Can't see anything anywhere I'd normally look...

...I thought its just the kind of thing Turbosquid might have in importable 3ds format for a couple of hundred bucks 😉

Looks like it might not be toooo difficult (for someone suitably adept at modelling) to make though... I guess???

It's not to scale, prolly the size of a kayak, but it was just a 5 minute quickie, hope it works for you.

Thank you so much. It imports perfectly into P2012 on a Mac.

I never would have guessed that in a gazillion years! I've never heard of it.  Sounds interesting though.

Well, now that you mention it, THAT is a worthwhile prize. :)

You'll never guess how  I knew the answer, though.

I searched on Google with the search terms: spinning will reverse direction by itelf.

The wikipedia article came up number 3.

Google is my friend, though sometimes it gets grumpy and I feel as though I am submitting my requests to a Delphic Oracle. Some questions are better answered using Wolfram Alpha. But not this one, as it turns out.

Cool! Never heard of that before. A cool video on the wikipedia page.
