drat installed like your directions said under the scripmenu but when I run it it says wont run with this version of poser. it's poser pro 2012 so what's going on. I tried on my 64 bit machine under 64 directory 32 directory and on my 32 bit machine same thing and I can't find this file/import figure difinitions menu. This program was donated to the foundation from an estate sale so don't know the background of it. looks like it was downloaded though.

I have had the same trouble.I go to import Poser Figure.Select all files.Go to Ezy Skin Figure.Hit import and nothing happens. Cheers

There are four versions released of PP2012. You do not have the latest. The latest is SR2.1, and SM has decided to not say 2.1, but 2 on the web site. This causes infinite confusion.
If EZSkin won't run, you do not have 2.1.

By the way - saying you got it in an estate sale is not a good idea around here. The license does not permit transfer under any circumstances. You cannot give it, donate it, sell it, will it - non transferable.
Also - the various forms of "I found it on a used computer I bought", or "My friend didn't need it anymore and gave it to me", or "I got it in an estate sale" are sometimes the claims of warez users coming here looking for help.
You will need a legit license to get the update.

I have just downloaded and installed what Smith Micro says is the Latest Poser updater.When installed it reads 9.0.021492. I do not know where you get the numbers above.EzySkin still does not open. Cheers

Here is EZSkin v2.0.2, contained within a zip file. After downloading it you need to remove the '.txt' extension so that the archive is recognised as a zip file.
The only change is that it gives some more information when it detects that you do not have the right version of Poser.
Please let us know what the error message says when you try to run this version.

When dealing with this sort of issue, you have to be precise. You can't typo something like that and expect us to respond.

When I go to help in Poser Pro 2102 and about it reads 9.0.2.21492. What am I saying that is wrong? Cheers

First you said 9.0.021492
Then you said 9.0.2.21492
Do you not see the difference? That .2. versus .0 is the whole story. First you were missing a period, but the bigger deal was you said .0, not .2. The .0 is the original. The .2 is SR2.
When we're asking if you have SR2 and you say you do but you write .0, that's what's wrong.
Now somebody who has SR2.1 will have to tell us if that number you gave is SR2.1. I don't know because I have SR3.

I guess EZSkin only needs 'SR2 and a bit but not quite 1' then! LOL :-)
I'm now totally confused about which builds have been made available and what their release designation numbers were!
There has to be a less confusing way of issuing SRs than this...
