Hi all!
I'm using Poser 7 and for quite a while now I'm noticing that prior to rendering, when it 'loads' the texture files of a character, it actually loads texture files that are not used in the final character.
To explain this better, let me quickly describe my workflow: I load up a blank V4, inject the textures of character X (full body, makeup, eyes etc), then I inject character X's face morph and then I usually try experimenting with the looks by injecting texture maps from a different character Y (full body, makeup etc or just the makeup, or whatever), while still maintaining the face morph of X.
Sofar so good, I'd expect it to discard completely the textures of X from the file list and keep only the final selection (from character Y). However upon rendering, it does load the textures from character Y as well as the texure files that been applied first (from character X)!!! I'm imagining that this eats up more memory and slows the render process.
So my question is if there is any way I can either avoid this from happening, or how to clear up the textures cache of a scene. And does it actually affect the system resources while rendering?
Mind you, I'm not a Poser geek, so please explain in plain English lol!
