First off, if you're female and you read this, I hope you are not offended by the bare-breasted nature of this model ;) My question is about the transmap I created for the skirt. No matter what setting I use, the faint outline of the actual skirt is visible. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? What should the "Transparency max, min, falloff" sliders be set at? BTW: I created her from scratch using the default female figure, and her morph targets. I created the skin in PSP7. The KyokoHair is of course by someone else JoeBlack

Read the tutorial (link at the top) that I've linked to. It's what I used when I first began using transparency maps (which are very cool) and, I highly recommend it.

Check out the tute, but the answer to your problem is to reduce the material's HIGHLIGHT value to Zero. Even when the transparency is set to 100%, any highlights will still show up. Useful in doing things like glass, but not so good for skirts.

Thanks :) Actually, I made that tutorial available offline for easy reference (so that I didn't need to get online all the time to view it). Funny, I never quite read it properly ;) Thanks also for the highlight tip - that should do it. JoeBlack

I was having problems like this until I changed my transmap to grey scale, that worked.
