Hi Guys

I have been thinking during my time here and I can see you all are quite keen on Space and the Universe so I have come up with an idea an HDRI image of a nebula or galaxy saving it as a hdri file and then I will upload it to the free stuff if anyone is interested or has other space type requests please let me know.

Regards

Karl

I'm needing some way to show a kid going into a trans to remote view (ESP) and I'm thinking a space scene like a nebula might work kind of like a stargate protal before he gets to his locaion. I' might have to think of some animation to show rapid movement between dimenstions or something. so yea I could us some scenes thanks

No Problem if you want a star gate portal you may be better off making it in Boolean or I could do that (it might take time but I am sure I can do it.) I am making a galaxy Hdri at the moment I will upload it when I think it is good enough. Cheers

Sounds interesting.  I'd like to see that.

I wonder why we are all so fascinated by space scenes... they are beautiful though.

You hit the nail squarely on the head, Fran. As an amateur astronomer I can tell you that there is a great amount of beautiful nebulae, galaxies and worlds out there. In my way of thinking, the Universe is infinite; which means that the beauty is also infinite. Yes we have plenty of beauty right here on Earth, but to think that more of that beauty is here rather than out there is to be very close minded.

So yes, I am obsessed with space scenes, and the majority of the scenes I create are either that type or alien planetary landscapes and cityscapes. Also it fits into my science fiction stories which I hope to be able to publish soon.

I think a few HDRI files of space type sky domes would definitely be fantastic to have. I am on pins and needles waiting for them. Someday I hope to be able to create my own, which I will gladly upload for the enjoyment of my fellow artists.

Stay awesome!

Agent 0013.

Excellent I am pleased to inform you I have uploaded the Hdr and bsk files for the Galaxy Backdrop and I am planning on making Nebula and Realsitic Stars close up like the sun and I am also hoping to make Super Nova Backdrops. I hope you will all like them. NOTE: this is my first attempt at a Galaxy Backdrop and it may not be as sharp as it could be but I am also giving the hdr file and original image made in Elements 9 so you can improve if it is a bit fuzzy The hdr file seemed to save when it felt like it.
