I need to find someone who can rig a pair of shoes for use in Poser.

I just don't have the patience or know how to properly rig them.  If you're willing to rig them for me, I'd be willing to give you the entire set (outfit & jewelry) when finished as a thank you or we could work something else out.

Please send me a site message if you're interested.

Why not Smart prop them?
I never rig shoes.
Always Smart prop them.

What about the bends?  I tried to smart prop them & the bends were crazy when I moved the foot.

Yeah, I wouldn't smart prop those...only a hard sole shoe. Those will need to bend.

The process is really very easy...I learned the whole thing in this thread ;). That was me who started the thread...not knowing how to rig a shoe. And before the end of it, I rigged a shoe ;). Yours don't have heels so they'll be dead easy.

It's the same with anything...if you want to make clothes you'll need to learn to rig eventually. Shoes are the easiest ;).

Very helpful link!  Thanks so much for posting it, Laurie!  I have my shoes rigged & the falloff zones set up & my shoes work!  I think I have to fiddle with the fall off zones a bit more though because the side of the shoe bends a little funky, but overall, I'm a happy camper.

You all know that Smart propping with inhirit bends checked "ON" does bend them?

A Smart Propped item will follow all bends from the group it is parented too, and the group upward and the group downwards.

Smart parent to the feet?

Will bend with:

  • the feet
  • the toes => one group down
  • the shin => one group up

Tony,

I know that, but the front of the shoe wasn't bending properly because they are quite longer than where the toe ends.  I feel that rigging it worked best.  Not to mention, I learned something new.  :)

Cheeers!
