Hea, I'm going to get Hash, Animation: Master in a few months from a friend and was wondering if there was enogh interest to add that as a forum here since we are expanding this beyond Metacreation's stuff. Just wondering.

It could easily be done. I guess we'd have to find out how many Hash AM users really come to this site. -JH.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. If I could get the help with Hash that I've gotten with Bryce and Poser. I'll be a master in no time. Well, maybe. :) Thanks Boni

I just picked up Animation Master at Siggraph this year. I really think it's a great product, but I'm still learning the ropes. I sure would love to have a forum for sharing ideas (although I think I'd be doing more asking than answering to start out hee hee). Thoth

We'll ask together Thoth, you won't be alone. Yeah, it would be great. I've never modeled from scratch, just morphed, textured and build boolean's with Bryce ... So I really look forward to this. Peace Boni

Hi Folks! I picked up Hash AM late last year and I'm finally going to have some time during the upcoming holidays to learn it. I would welcome a Hash forum here, especially on topics of modelling humanoids and props to export into other 3D programs. Peter (Dr. Zik)

Your wishes and desires are our command!! We will work on it for you and should have a forum for them soon!! Jack

Geez! I'd better start on all those tutorials I've been putting off because of...of all things...work. :) Really looking forward to exchanging ideas. Thanks, Powers That Be. Thoth

Count me in on the forum if it starts. I just picked up A:M at COMDEX and I'm beyond new to the CG scene...eager to learn and try though :)

Hi, gibsonav! I'm not sure, but I think there was a Hash forum for a little while and then there just wasn't. Don't know the why's or wherefore's of it. There is a general 3D Application forum that has some Hash user's, I think. I know that there is a gallery for Hash here with some fantastic work; maybe there will be a discussion forum someday. If you haven't been, don't forget to go to hash.com for the great tutorials at Sherwood Forest. Also, there is a wonderful site with lotsa free models at http://www.AnimationPitStop.com/. Hope this helps. I'm always glad to see another Hasher! Thoth

You DO realize you're responding to a message that's over two years old, don't you?

gibsonav ( ) posted Thu, 13 December 2001 at 12:53 PM

Hey, I'm new to the CG scene, I'm looking for resources and information on anything and everything I can get and, based on the fact that I've gotten a few responses in just a few days since I posted it, it's still being read right? :) so what's yer point? :)
