hello to all

I bought Sailing Yacht Dolphin 55, despite being a beautiful model, it lacks the transceiver between the on-board equipment

I can not find a radio for the Yacht, can anyone help me ?

many thanks.

I thought sure there would be something in the Trimble (formerly Google) 3D Warehouse (even though it would be in SketchUp format and need conversion), but I don't see anything.

Short of finding one, I'd try finding an image of the front panel and applying it a scaled cube. Maybe you could use displacement and/or some primitives for knobs, switches etc. depends on how closeup you need. You might be able to do something similar for a mike and maybe there's a coiled cord type thing incleded in something in freestuff. You could use the free EasyPose tube as well. If you have some pics, someone here can probably whip up one for you if it's not too detailed.

I did a Google image search for 'Marine Radio' which shows a bewildering range of types and styles, from bulky 'steam powered' things from the '50s to small ultra-modern gadgets which also have MP3 and video playing functions.

In all cases, if you get a decent resolution head-on image it should be simple to create one - using 1 or more primitives - that would pass muster.

There are a couple pieces in my 1960 Office set that could be put together.

Look at the Steno.  It has a PTT microphone with posable cord, and a set of headphones.   Or you could use the coiled cord and handset from one of the Bell phones, and just hide the phone itself.

Also I've got this little tuner that looks something like a transceiver:

Only one I could find comes from archive3dNet

Might be a little old in style. Assume you're looking for something CB style?

The best collection of dials and switches comes from the Dendras Electro Control Set at Renderotica. CAUTION- adult content!!!

Got a feeling this is just what you want but you will need to make your own microphone

Mic could be a primitive with a displacement map. Same approach for the lead- displacement on an easy-pose tube

Looks like the type police wear these days. Maybe find one in a police set somewhere - at a price.

One here but in SketchUp format so conversion necessary and possibly needing a cord. Post a request here in the forum. I'm pretty sure someone would make a quickie for you.
