Anybody know anything about 50megs.com and thier offer of free web space other than the fact they post adverts on your page? Been looking them over and loaded a small site to test them out. Please let me know if you have had any experience with them.

beezlebub, I used them for a while. You cannot have archive files on the site (zip) it comes up with an error. and after 2 months they "lost" my site, they never respond to emails either. When I used them (about 6 months ago) they would not allow remote loading (post a pic here from there) and they were very unreliable, This was 6 months ago so I don't know what's changed with them. They "Lost" my site too claiming that someone stole one of their servers ;-) -JH.

Try spaceports, you can have zip files, remote calls for images, unlimited space, and if you stick their banners up you get .10 a click. www.spaceports.com -Trav
