I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Never, and I'll repeat that, never, let the Daz installer plonk things into your runtime.
You'll have a devil of a time finding things.
Make a folder on your desktop and make the installer place everything there, then drag them where you want them, and rename them more appropriately so you can find them later.
The Geometries and Textures you can just dump into the relevent runtime folders, but the Poses, Characters, Props, Hairs, Lights etc. folders you can rename and place in sub-folders where you want them as long as you maintain the correct Poser file structure.
The only exception is with a few Daz dependent installs which have to go where the original character is installed, and not in an external runtime, but there aren't many of those.
Just point the installer to your main Poser 6 folder and everything will go to the right place.
All the best.

sometimes the older clothes will go to a folder in Figure library called 'morphing clothes'.
the daz installer should leave a readme in the runtime you installed to, the readme will contain a list of folders and what went where.
texture options for the clothes will be in the Pose library folder.

I have never used an installer to put things in my runtime. Maybe I am not the norm, but I have always just unzipped the file and copied or just moved the files into the corresponding folders in the runtime. Since I set up the runtime to be used by more than just me on this laptop, the runtime is in my public folder.
I just select 'copy to folder' or 'move to folder' from the file menu and select the folder to move or copy it to. Since most of the vendors have their product folders set up correctly for Poser this is easy.
But maybe I am not the norm, as I stated. I have never needed nor used an installer...
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.
when i first joined the pc club - 2009 - most Fridays nights i would have 10 to 30 daz installers. in the old days they were all exes.
i would pour a glass of wine, run the installers to my main or download runtime. leave the readme's up to see what went where. i'd open up a dos window (cmd) to rename the pp2s to cr2s, so i could keep the sets together in one folder. if an outfit came with a hat prop, i wanted it with the conforming pieces.
i would convert the promo image from the readme to 200x260 png, name it 0.png, put in an empty 0.cr2 in the folder with the set.
for character sets and outfits, i would make another copy of the promo image and put it in a !Fummary folder. so then i could see everything i had in one folder before deciding how to dress Vicki or Mike.
if the thumbnails weren't clear i would make 150x150 renders of everything and replace the original thumbnails.
it was a relaxing way to spend Friday night.
