Subject: Vue 6 Infinite and Windows 7 ?

Just bought a new Dell XPS 8500 with Windows 7 64 bit. I was using Vue 6 Infinite on my old computer 32 bit XP and I'm wondering if I can use it on my new system. Don't really have the cash to upgrade to Vue 10.5 at this point but it's in the works for the future. 

 

Does any one know if this is possible?

yes, it works fine on Windows 7-64 bit for me.

Check the update to Vue 6.60 Infinite to see if its installer is 64-bit.  I don't remember if it was or if 64-bit installers started with Vue 7's updates.

Thanks! Do you know if the 32bit version will run on a 64 bit system?

e-on released updates in 64-bit because the 32-bit were not working quite right.  A lot of complaints at the time.  The updates auto-detect 32-bit or 64-bit OS when installed.

I found this just now.

Update to Version 6.60 - Build 292711 This update is available for Mac and Windows (32bit and 64bit) platforms.The following is a list of bug fixes and improvements included in this update:

Warning: This update is for the Final Release version of Vue 6 Infinite only (version 6.05 build 289768 and up). If you're still using the Pre-Release version, please uninstall it and then download and install the Final Release version before applying this update.
