I'm running a PII 400Mhz with 128Mb RAM, Riva TNT video card and have had no problems (so far) running Poser 4. I've run under both NT and WinDoze98 OS. Paul

lets say I have a Celeron 333....or a pentium 2 333...with 32 or 64mb ram, a 8 gig hard drive, 3d voodoo 4mb video card, and windows 98 should I be able to run poser?

You should be able to run Poser on that without to much hassle, although it may choke if you attempt to load too many figures. (As an addendum to Allerleirauh's advice: Always get as much RAM as you can in the best computer you can afford) Paul

My whimpy-puter at home (P2-133MHz, 32Mb RAM, 1Mb vid card, 10Gb HD) runs P4 slowly, (renders about 30 times slower than my 450MHz system with a real graphics card at work) but, it will run. Aside from the speed problems, I regularly hit "C-Exception" problems with .PZ3 files over about 20Mb.

I have a PII-400 with 256Mb ram and a 32mb Elsa Synergy 4xagp. The only program to bog it down is Lightwave sometimes , other than that everything runs well. Most machines now @ the stores are faster than this excluding memory.
