Subject: do Poser camera's lenses have a materail zone?

does't seem to be, but it doesn't hurt to ask  ??

a shadowcam lens?

trying to come up with ideas for lens filter effects.
like the silhouetted figure inside a tent

use a plane and stick it in front of the camera?
maybe with a blend node, it's possible to filter out color ranges? desaturate?

not at my poser pc, so it's all guessing conjecture.
9 more hours til i can sit at my poser pc and experiment.
and play with dinoraul trees and critters.  yayy.

maybe playing with the lens settings can lead to some cool warping effects? like fun mirrors only without the mirrors.
and ways to play with Poser oblique?

Cameras don't have material zones, you'd need to park something in front of the lens.

You can have a bit of fun with changing the scaling of the X, Y and Z axes though.

You can use a one sided square in front of the camera as a "mat" zone of sorts.  Just do a search on lens.

Edit: found it

I had a smart prop (I think it was a weather prop from the freestuff, but I can't find it now) that automatically moved with the camera.  I used it to do rain and fog.  But using mat nodes on the "lens" is something I have never thought about before...  Opens loads of possibilities!

It would be an interesting feature. Vue has 'Gels' to create the gobo type effect but there, gel is a property of lights, not the camera.
