I want to buy these tutorials, but the Marketplace shows them at full price.  How do I get the discount?

So far the cloth room is very helpful...I now see what I was doing wrong...That's as far as I've gotten since now I have to put into practice..

Looks like you missed the intro price when first released...:(

I snatched that thing up when it came out on Weds.  LOL  So far I have only looked at the lighting tuts.  They are really helpful.  A lot of stuff I didn't know.

RLSprouse ( ) posted Sun, 23 September 2012 at 12:53 PM

So far, the tuts are great and I am learning a lot already.

However, right now I am stuck on a minor (I think) point.  I am following the Cloth Room series, and for some reason, the Wind Forces effect in the second video does not work for me.  Even though I set up the "wind machine" as directed, when I Calculate it does not appear that the wind is blowing the cloth.

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks for that vitachick, I made the tutes on sr2.  I hadn't seen that SR3 broke it.  That's a real shame.

What is the version no for sr3?  If I havn't got it I'll get it installed and test it out.

For those who have trouble coughing up the dough for this tutorial (which looks wonderful for beginners and intermediate), the Poser 8 Revealed book by Kelly Murdock is good and covers much of this...it just doesn't have all the new heavy-duty Poser 9/2012 features, most of which are advanced anyway.  But if you can afford these video tutorials, they certainly look worth it.

Windforce is said to be fixed in SR3.1.  Looks like you may need to update Poser for that particular part of the tutorial.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.
