I just made a HomePage here ... but for the life of me I can't figure out what "Background URL" does? I put in several things but nothing seems to happen??

Background Url refers to an image that you would like to have set for your page background. These are either in .JPG format, or more commonly, .GIF format. When it asks you for the url of the image that you would like to use, let's say a blue flower background image (in this example let's give the image name: Bluerose.gif) that you have on your FTP Let's say your main site is on www.geocities.com/SOHO/Bar and that your Bluerose.gif image is there. Under the Background URL you would type the following: http://www.geocities.com/SOHO/Bar/Bluerose.gif then when you view the homepage here, it will show that blue flower image as your homepage's background. Hope that helps!! Jack

Hi Jack Well, that's what I tried but it doesn't work. There's simply nothing other then the background color and yes, I did put in the right URL :o}

I tried it, too, and it didn't work for me either.

Hmm... then I will have to talk to the programmer and see if this can be adjusted. Sorry for the trouble. Jack
