for the on site (here) notices of new art by my fav's - I keep getting TWO of every single one. Kinda annoying... happens periodially, then goes back to the normal one notice each...then doubles up again.

If you are referring to product notices from Vendors who are marked as Favorites, it's likely because the products are a collaborative work where two of the vendors are your "fav's".  If that's not what you meant, then I don't know...maybe that could happen if you had another account...not sure?

I only have one account and these are new posts in the gallery here...the bubble upper right on the site here, I click that, for gallery notices. Those are the one's that are doubled .... I had a friend tell me she is getting two of each also.

yep ocasionally this happens to me although very rarely.my main issue at the moment is that it is hard to surf on the site be it store or galleries,i have to reload every page.

it is not my browser neither my pc,as i tested on several pcs and in several browsers the same issue i posted this in the "has rendo server probs"thread in this forum.just wanted to spread the word.

Well I just got TWO more of the SAME notice (by the same person) that I got a comment on my latest art... hope the programmers can figure it out...it can get really cumbersom at times, and I forgot to mention this in the site survey.

I am also getting TWO Fav notices on uploaded works from EACH member lately ....

For EACH uploaded work, if a member FAV's it, I get TWO FAV notices on that ONE work in my MAILBOX here at RENDO.

YES, it IS HARD to believe that ANYONE would FAV even ONE of TallPocket's works! (WINK)

I have also been noticing how the 'online' members numbers JUMPS DRAMATICALLY by 1,000 or MORE in a VERY SHORT time/clock span .... From 2,500 online members one minute and five minutes later or less, it's JUMPED to 1100 -1300 and then BACK up .... Lather, Rinse, Repeat ....

And have been noticing recently SLOW site .... Get 'getting connected' ALOT .... Then more WAITING ... Then, "Waiting for www.renderosity.com" .... Then MORE WAITING ... then site finally MOVES to next page ....

Do NOT have this 'issue' of 'slowness' with any other site(s) on my p.c./ISP peeps ... Just RENDO ....

HOW? can I forward duplicate notices from the SITE NOTICES HERE? I am confused... I don't use my e mail for Rendo at all, it is the BUBBLE NOTICE THINGY up in the upper right corner of the Renderosity web site...so I can go look at the list of notices on my ...what would you call it, "notice page of rendo" ? I LIKE this feature, as I hated going back and forth from e mails... so I just delete all the e mails and USE the ON SITE easy-click notice of anything that takes place for the art galleries.  That thing that shows me if: My art has been: commented on, Favorited and it shows me if one of My Fav artists has uploaded a new piece of art... so I just "click and go"....

Like I said, I do LOVE and use this feature, but IT IS THE THING THAT DOUBLES...So I have a very long list of notices... I can try to get a screen capture if that would help? It's a site programming bug I think... I know the site is VERY complex, so I can't imagine what is causing it.

Exactly the same thing is happening to me!

it is happening to me as well...for the past three days I've gotten doubles of all my notifications.  It makes it difficult to get through them because I have to keep going though the pages searching for which one's I've looked at over and over.

Okay, we have made some changes so this should be fixed now.

Please keep an eye out and let me know if it is still happening.
