Subject: How to install Miki4???

Hi, I´m using Poser 9 and just tried to install the new Miki4 figure, but clicking on the exe-file I´m told that my copy of Poser could not be found... and when I locate it manually I´m told there´s no Poser there... huh???

 

Can someone please help?

I had no problems. Make sure you find your Poser installation that has the Poser.exe in it. Just click on that Poser. Otherwise, have the installer install Miki into a seperate folder and you can them install her runtime manually without the installer.

I did not have it ask for Poser specifically. I installed Mike in an external runtiime on a external drive.

just found the solution: I had to upgrade to SR3 first... stupid me!

Same here, installed to a separate external runtime.  No problems.

I wonder if it's reading the .exe for information to confirm it's real before installing. It did that on my Poser Pro 2012 and I haven't updated to it to SR3. I eventually got mine to load also but I suffered the same error a number of times before it did.

Odd, I have my PP2012 on my external drive and the Miki4 and Tyler exe's found them straight away, installed with no probs.

I had to actually remove the poser.exe file from the main poser directory to install.

If you have the SR3 installed, there are no issues. Mine loaded with no problems. I have had her for a couple days now, and I am already making clothes for her...
