Last year for the nice folks at DSA I made the rather fun - and totally free - model you can see below. This year the zombies have been knawing away at the ever receding hairline and supped my creative juices. So you have an idea for a really cool Halloween item, I'd really like to eat your brain.. Opps :) ... I mean if it's a really cool, fun and above all ultra silly idea, that makes me smile, I'll make it. Then it'll be given away as a freebie to the community as a Halloween gift. In return you'll get joint creator credit, co-copyright if you desire, plus I'll be bunging you free copy's of all my products as a mega thanks.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Uuuuuummmmmmm.....

Not necessarily this, because of copyright violations, but something Tim Burtonesque would be cool.

If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

Sixus already released a freebie Jack Skellington years ago.

As soon as I read "eat your brain" I thought... a brain would be cool.  :)

(One year my son put a large cauliflower in a jar of water with a bit of red food coloring and bandaged his head up.)

I'm behind the power curve there. But I was referring to a Nightmare Before Christmas type set. I should have been more clear. And I should have posted a pic of that...

A skull festooned catacomb with a central chamber that has an ornate, demonic well/ portal to the abyss... Or the Cavern lair of an insane hillbilly cannibal that is also a Cthulhu mythos cultist*...Or* a Satanic church interior with various blasphemous accoutrements, dominated by a hellish stained glass window depicting damnation motifs.

(It might be a challenge to inject some light-heartedness into the above themes, though).

What about a castle interior similar to the haunted house one.

You could have a dungeon in one quarter, a mad scientists lab in the second, a crypt with a coffin in the third and a spooky old dining room with cobwebs and dust over the furniture in the fourth. The central bit where you had the chimney before could be a castle turret with lightning conductor on it

What's DSA?

Mark@poser ( ) posted Sun, 30 September 2012 at 8:49 AM

What about a fun house ride, like the ones at the old fairs. You take your seat and you get sent through the various scenes and scares. Things pop out at you, rise up from the ground, etc.

jonnybode ( ) posted Sun, 30 September 2012 at 10:26 AM

How about a restaurisation/emergency center for zombies that have been hurt by evil people (just because they are hungry).

Or a Zombie resturant with A la carte team (with a playground for the little zombie children).

Oh ok. Cool. Thanks. I'm thiking of increasing my content collection and anything that will save me from having to model it myself...

So I'll go check DSA. As for the the original question: Spooky graveyard. You could have lots of fun with the tombstones and the crypts and fences and stuff. Would also alow you to do some trees.

Even if you don't make it, I totally hope someone does, but I agree with nobodyinparticular on the corn field with a scarecrow... that would be awesome!

My deadcorn sets over at Daz have that covered with a ton of options, and Rawart over there has an amazing scarecrow character that I included a morphing scarecrow hat for.

Everyone - if you need some amazing inspiration for your halloween shots..google images the word "Farmageddon". I just wanted to publicly thank mrsparky for his generosity here. I was just happy to get his Halloween freebie which is pretty neat. People like him keep me coming back to Renderosity and the forum. I'm home with pneumonia this week, so this is a nice surprise and will distract me from the coughing.

Thanks again.
