I was looking at PhilC store and found Clothing Designer. Has anyone use Clothing Designer? Any reviews?

I use clothing designer a lot. Very useful and easy to use. Normally I use it as a starting point and then take the mesh into Blender for further modelling.
Phil's obj2cr2 utility makes the rigging of clothing a breeze. Highly recommended.
Poser 11 Pro, Windows 10
Auxiliary Apps: Blender 2.79, Vue Complete 2016, Genetica 4 Pro, Gliftex 11 Pro, CorelDraw Suite X6, Comic Life 2, Project Dogwaffle Howler 8, Stitch Witch
Does obj2cr2 work well with weightmap figures. Right now I'm doing everything the long and tedious way. I'm learning lots, (well not the last few weeks but when I had more time I was) I'd sure like to speed up my progress though. Does obj2cr2 rely on posers setup room mechanics to rig or does it have an independant .. um.. thingy.. for transfering the rig from a base figure to a clothing item?

Dark Edge Design has some really easy to follow tutorials on rigging clothing too. He takes you through the entire process, including how to to tweak it after the rigging is in place.
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.
OBJ2CR2 takes care of the grouping and rigging for you automatically. It can accommodate weight mapped figures.

Phil, I couldn't spot them in the other figures list... is there... or will there be soon... support for Tyler/Ryan2, Anastasia/Alyson2 and Miki4 in Clothing Designer then?
Many thanks
Check out the update page.

Pretty much if I've done the Wardrobe Wizard support files then the other utilities follow. The Pants.cr2, Skirt.cr2 and obj.txt files are straight copies from the Wardrobe Wizard data folder into the PhilCShared Data folder. For the template you can use any one with matching groups. Just scale to suit.
Alyson2 and Ryan2 come with the download. Tyler is on my to do list but he is basically Ryan2 with morphs. I just need to check if separate files are needed.
Remind me, Anastasia is a morph off Alyson2? If so then she is covered.
You can even "do it yourself" if you are using a custom figure no one else has.

Plus I'm here to help.
I'm just wondering if it produces similar results to letting poser group and transfer a rig via the setup room. I've found that the autogrouping in poser is better than it used to be but still not great, and the transfered rig need a fair bit of tweaking.
Does it just automate the poser processes that accomplish rigging a clothing item or does it do some of its own work as well to deliver a better outcome than the setup room method?

This is very interesting to me then, so far my biggest roadblock to getting content finished is getting rigging that I feel comfortable attaching my name to. I do imagine that it will require at least some tweaking though?
Quote - It does not use the Poser auto group nor simply automate the set up room. I use a different method that has stood the test of time.
The OBJ2CR2 applies a very good basic set of joint parameters to the clothing. I've always made it clear that I do not believe there is a "one size fits all" solution and that some adjustment to suit the particular style should be expected. Generally these adjustments will be small. and are covered in the supporting video tutorial on my site.

Hello, I am make the clothing obj, (I prefer carrara but can use hexagon) but need to learn the next steps after importing the shirt obj. I think the next step is rigging and need a tutor to learn rigging in poser 2012. Any suggestions?
Thanks
