Okay, Bagginsbill has a shader over at that fixes this problem.  It's his Max Scatter trick.

Basically you use 2 scatter nodes, one set under 1, the other is set to 2 and you plug them both in to a max node.

For blue around the lips (and this IS the only fix...):

Go into the material room and set the group number on the SSS shader node to a different group other than the one the skin face is in (it's probably 1). Change the group number on the inner mouth, gums, teeth and tongue. That should all clear up for you then. Of course you can also fix all this with EZSkin2 (free). But I normally do it by hand on a shader that's SSS already because it's so easy :).

What's happening is that because all the zones are in the same group, Poser will try and use the WHOLE lot as one SSS object and all the bits that are close together (like teeth, inner mouth, etc) get scaled the same as the head, which will cause this blue color. If you tell the SSS node to scale them each on their own (inner mouth 2, teeth 3, etc) you won't get the blue ;).

You might want to add the eyes to a different SSS group also.

Quote - You might want to add the eyes to a different SSS group also.

The only reason I don't is because real eyes tend to get bluish/purplish around the lower lids where the skin gets thinner ;).

I would change the nostrils too tho come to think since they tend to get blue as well and don't in RL...LOL.

Nostrils? Depends, before or after the drinks???
LOL.

Close fitted and SSS-d clothing can become problematic also.

Eyes, yes, depends on the figure.
