Hi All

Having a slight problem doing some hand animation in Poser.  I'm attempting to create some sign language in Poser (Australian, not ASL).

I'm finding this rather difficult as the problem is in the particular signs I'm attempting to do there is interaction between the two hands that is quite complex including collision detection requirements.

Does anyone know of any good reading material or other suggestions?  My Poser Animation skills are not eh best unfortunately.

Any help most appreciated.

The poser manual explains how to use collision detection. Its a pdf file in the poser folder.   Ockham has in freestuff a utility to do sign language which might be of some help.

Ok thanks.

Can you be a litle bit more specific about the Freestuff utility?

I have done a search for Ockham and for Sign Language in the Freestuff section but can't find anything.

Ockham has a lot of really useful scripts: http://ockhamsbungalow.com/Python/
