That would be good for me, I've got an unfinished image that I had to stop doing because I was submitting for a commision which used up all my time.

Yep when The Bryster still had teeth.
Sorry Mate. Did you go and watch the waves the other day?

Oh I haven't had teeth for much longer than that.
I didn't need to go watch the waves. They came right on by my door...................

So long as it didn't wash you and the comfy chair away?
The weather here (Essex) has been pretty good the last 3 days - pretty much back to normal for this time of year. A few gentle rays of sun, not so much wind and only a few spots of rain on one day... wow! Cos I was beginning to think it would never end!
We have many trees down now that we can do nothing about cos one is leaning against a BT telephone pole - and MUST be dealt with, gonna cost a bomb!
Simply can't do the others at all.
Have the results of this challenge been posted? I can't seem to find it. The words: 'Challenge Page' are not an active link.

Actually in winter we regularly get water flooding into our store - it comes into the drive off of the street, and just floods down the gradient into the overhang and the Victorian drain can't cope with it so it overflows the drainage channel and laps into the store room.
But this year, with all the flooding everywhere has been getting - and with all our ponds full to bursting (and 2 flooding the paths around the ponds - one of which is connected to the aformentioned drainage) and yet so far the store has not flooded... I'm waiting on tenterhooks.
The results were posted eh? Oh well, I was just looking at the 4 or 5 threads that looked active and just visiting them...

I wish I had seen those waves and angry ocean that slammed the shores of the UK. Awesome and terrifying both. The same weather patterns have made life an adventure in the southeastern US also. It started about mid-January and continues still. Things seem to be on a 7 day cycle peaking each Tuesday or Wednesday. One week we will have record breaking high temps for that time of year the the next it reverses to record breaking lows. I'm speaking of highs in the 70's F and lows in the single digit F range. It rollercoasters weekly.
Day before yesterday it was 77 F here, today there are snow flurries. I have grown accustomed to wearing shorts and a tee shirt with the snow ski clothes hanging by the door.
A couple of weeks ago we had the window open and the fan on with all radiators off - trying to cool down from a slow boil. The day before it was freezing cold on approximately the 40th (or more, I've lost count) day of rain - I think it must have been St Swithin's Revenge.
And 4 days later the rain started up again - but just drizzles or the occasional full rainy day, rather than every day.
I guess we'll be calling this:- The Year It Rained.
