Hello,

I have noticed a problem that I have with Vue 11 Infinite. If I load the Date Palm or the Prehistoric Cycade and then increase the resolution in the plant editor the shape of the tree begins to distort quite a bit. This is most noticeable with the cycade tree. Also, the cycade shape is frequently not retained when the tree is loaded into the scene. What happens is that the top of the tree looks like a 'bottle brush' shape rather than the rounded shape of a cycade.

I have attached an image that shows what I mean. The tree on the right has the proper shape while the tree on the left has a 'bottle brush' top. The middle tree is a duplicate of the left most tree that has had the resolution increased. Notice how the middle tree has become distorted.

Can other people reproduce these results?

Thanks for any replies.

Does the same thing in Vue 9.5 Infinite.  The x2ing in the Tree Editor is meant for use more on angled branches rather than on branchless trunks.

Can it be a strong reaction to wind?

Good question.

Makes no difference if breeze is turned off, or tree's sensitivity to breeze is turned off.
