I have the feeling the answer to my question is no... but I hope I am wrong. I have been looking at the new hair plugins for Daz studio that are in developement (Look at my hair plugin and Garibaldi Express) and I have noticed that they have ways of not just selecting polygons that you want to have hair but you can also "paint" where you want hair... allowing you to be more exact of where the hair is coming out of... I was wondering if there was any way to do this is Poser's Hair Room?

In Poser hair grows on the poly's of the scullcap. You can modify the scullcap.

Use the group editor, spawn a new prop, to adapt the scullcap if you want/need to.

I did something like it in my Hair Room tut:  Just make the unwanted hairs invisible by using a transparency map.

Have fun.

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.

visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though
