how do you go about sending a person a gift that you have already purchased?

Not sure what you mean.  When you put something in your basket there's a place to put if it's a gift and who the gift is for.

Renderosity will notify the person that they have a gift and who it's from.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you can give someone a product that you purchased for yourself. You have to designate it as a gift at the time it is purchased.

Poser Pro 2012 SR3

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Intel Core I7 990x 3.46G 6 core

24G RAM

EVGA GTX580 R Video Card

That is correct behavior by the system.

You must pay for the item when you buy it for yourself and again for the copy you are sending as a gift. Two copies out there, the artist deserves two payments.

Ah, now I understand better what you mean - you purchased it for yourself and now you want to ALSO give one as a gift to someone - yes, as mentioned, you must buy ANOTHER one for the gift recipient, which definitely makes sense :).

no actually it was a gift and i was trying to pass it on as a gift, but hey it's no problem either way, thanx for your comments!:)

Ah, got it :)  No, I don't believe you can do that, unfortunately.  You can try to contact the store and see if they'd do it for you but I have a feeling the answer will be no...

In my first attempts at giving gifts, I accidently bought items that I wouldn't normally have purchased for myself, which meant I paid double because then I had to also go and buy it again and this time remember to designate it to a specific person.

"It is good to see ourselves as others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to say." - Ghandi
