I am disabled (permanent nerve damage, disc degenerative disease, disc buldge, etc.) which makes it very hard for me to sit for any extended amount of time. I just had a friend die and her family would like for me to do a piece with her. I was wondering if anyone could possibly do the morphs for me or help me understand what I am doing because at the moment I have no clue. I am looking for dark textures that would work with her skin. I will be doing a peacock theme because she loved them so much (theme was used in her wedding and the spray on her casket.)  I haven't been able to do any art for almost 4 years. And, right before the accident I was starting to play around with morphs but I couldn't make anything like you all. Plus, I just got Poser 9 for Christmas from my Mom because she wants me back into my art. I haven't even installed it yet. I am still downloading stuff I bought and working with stuff I had backed up on discs I miss art. My external HD died taking the high res pieces of my art and all of my files with it. That is why I am here downloading my previous purchases and freebies everywhere in the 3D world. I am going to make an attempt at a character after I do the dedication piece. I will be more than happy to give you what I make or let me know how much it will cost to do this on commission and I will let you know if I will be able to pay the amount for commission. Mine obviously wont be anyone we know though, lol.  I have had 5 back surgeries and fixing to have another. I am 33 and Kerri was 35 with a 12 year old son. She is a beautiful woman. I really need help. Please let me know what you think.

If you are wondering how I am going to be able to do the stuff I am aspiring to do it will be in my bed, I use my daughters Disney Princesses bed/lap tray until we are able to get one of those laptop over the bed tables hopefully at a yardsale or thrift store if not I am saving up for one at Walmart.

I have attached a picture of her here so that you can see her. I have more pictures of her that I can send you so that you can see her without make-up/regular expression/different angles, etc. Her mom gave me her engagement photo for this. So, I have all kinds of stuff I can send.

I have body morphs that I think we all have so I can do the body with those. I need help with that beautiful face.

I greatly appreciate your time and help in just reading this more than you know.

Respectfully,
Dana R. Myers/ChaoticGoddess

Can't help with the morphs - I've never really tried to make something really look like a particular person, but I wanted to just send you {{HUGS}} for what you're dealing with and the loss of your lovely friend.

I think what you're planning sounds wonderful and am sure her family will love it - good luck to you with the project !

I know there are lots of really lovely textures you can check out - some free and others not, depending on what figure you're using.  I'd be happy to throw out some of my favorites if you let us know what figure it would be for.

Cheers,
Alisa

V4/V4.2/V5 whatever they want to do the morphs on if anyone will do it. So far I have asked 5 people and I haven't even received a reply saying "sorry" or "no." I was hoping that someone on here would help me, still holding out hope.

You are very sweet. I really sincerely thank you for taking the time to respond and help me with textures.

I hope you have a fabulous day & cyber Monday. I hope you find everything your heart desires. I am hoping for a half price over the bed table.

You're very welcome!  Hope the bed table gets to be half price for you :)

Here are some of my favorite V4 textures that may be useful:

At Daz-
Grace from StephanieBT
Camielle from Morris
Ebony from Virtual World
Macey Day from RawArt
Marie Elite texture from Sarsa, BLTProduction & Yannek

At Rendo
Check out Mask's V4 Puresckins
Reciecup has several lovely textures - free and pay for

I adore Maskedit's textures, though I don't know if he's selling anywhere any longer.  His store's empty, but you could contacting him through Rendo site mail..

It is extremely difficult to make a believable look alike.
You need all the pictures you can get your hands on, and in the highest resolution possible, as reference material.

General shape is easy.
But eyes, nose and mouth HAVE to be exact and can take weeks to get right, to make a believable look alike.

Good luck with your project.

I've done this before. Several times.

As Vilters says above, it is a painstaking, time consuming process. The last time I did it, I charged $200 for the project and was throwing my time away. It took DAYS of working on that and nothing else, and when i was done I'm not sure the client was REALLY satisfied with the result. It is nearly impossible to get 100% there. Look at some of the "celebrity look alike" products here. Yes, you can tell who it is supposed to be... no, they do not look completely like the real life actors they are modelled after.

I'm pretty sure that is why no one is responding. It's why I didn't speak up when you first posted. It's just not something that's really doable with the current state of the technology.

I will do it free... how soon do you need it :)

Oh and as for textures, I could either make one along with the morph or you could use another one such as:

(If you use DAZ Studio/Genesis... in this case you can just use the skin on either V4 or V5 and use the custom morph)

-or-

(If you would rather use V4, and this would also work with Poser and DAZ.)

If you would like for me to do this for you, you can send me a site mail, and possibly a larger sized photo? :)

P.S: Sorry for your loss, and I wish you and your friends family the best.

I can't help you with morphs, I am lost on them also however I wanted to send out a big "I understand & hang in there" I also am semi disabled with major back issues as well as dyslexia and mild CP.  I am trying to learn all this stuff so I can move my work at home business forward.

Anyways - HUG  :)
