Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 9:14 am)
Copy any file and name it Poser.exe. It does not have to be poser. An empty file will do.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Ok I upgraded to Poser Pro 2012.
I figured this would be a good opportunity to start afresh with my Runtime Library (which, let's face it like everyone else was a mess!!!). I actually haven't played with Poser since version 7 but I'm starting to get serius on the animation side of things.
Problem I'm having is that some of the old installers won't recognise that Poser is a valid install (V4.2, A4 to name two). They are recognising the right location (D:GraphicsPoser Pro 2012).
I'm assuming the installer is looking for Poser.exe.....
Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix? I'm thinking mabe at this stage simply copying PoserPro.exe and renaming it Poser.exe to try and fool the installer.....
Or do I need to look at installing an older version and "imporing the library" into poserPro?
