Another way is to learn from a ready model, check attachment.There should be a thread in the old Daz3D forum, but it takes time to track it down...
thanks man, i dl'd the beta version but i get an extension is too old error on installation. i'm going to look at the daz forum articles now ty

apologies for another post, but is it possible to use dynamic clothing in carrara 8?. I have seen the soft body option in the general/modifier/effect/shader menu section but i cant find a decent explanation on how to use dynamic cloth if it is at all possible.......
