Subject: requests for new poser gui features

these are based on the PP12 out of the box:

a way to plug a dial into another dial to slave them through the gui.
or drag a parameter dial on top of another, slave? yes/no
ability to delete if needed.

would be nice to delete unused materials from poser interface.  (currently doing this step in cr2editor)

merge 2 or more figures in the setup room. like, merge a pre-rigged arm to a pre-rigged torso.  joint presets (from library?), example -abducting joint

wishing the morph putty tool had x,y,and z dials to move the vert selection, as an alternative to push/pulling in preview window.

the grouping tool had an option to show the texture, for when defining hair groups to match up over eyebrows and hairlines.

undocking paletts could look like p7, or the big white bars could be less obstrusive?

ability to increase font size of parameter dial text. (tiny font makes me feel nausious after a couple hours.)

ability to set path to app preference files.

i wsh i didn't have to be a slave to adobe s/w to run poser.

ability to launch poser without the 'content' tab. seriously.

a new image map node that could automatically read a .png alpha mask as transparency layer.

hair vert segments, is there a better looking way?
a curves technology maybe?  weightmap guide hair strands?

Along the same lines as your PNG transparency, it would be nice to use a PSP or PS file as the complete material file.  Each material zone would read a layer with its own name.

When I'm building materials for a thing, I always keep them in a single PSP file.  It would be SO nice to bring the whole file into Poser at once instead of spawning a litter of separate JPGS.

And ditto on the font size control.  Wasn't a problem for me until I finally got a large-width monitor, specifically to make Poser operations easier.  Now I have room to keep all the little palettes open at once, but I can't see what they're saying.

Get rid of the room tabs. NOW. Move them to the Window menu, where they will make more sense, and won't be getting accidentally clicked on a million times per session.

I think you can do this already, if I am understanding you. On the right you can click on "Remove Detatched Nodes" and that will strip them out. You can also shift-click on it and it will do it for the whole figure. Now, if you are talking actual materials that get loaded in by accident when you click the wrong mat pose then that is something different.

Does that really remove the materials from the CR2 file?
