Hi I just purchased real metals to try and create some interesting ground and sky scenes in poser pro 2010. They come as a material that you can load as a ray trace reflection or a spherical map. I couldn't get it to produce anything with either, so I went into the materials room and loaded a new node and found the png file. In the image below I did this to the terrain. First of all, it doesnt look at all like the product (sure I'm not understanding a lot) and second you can see its only half green and half white when it was shown on the product as green...Can anyone help? Thanks!

If you are apply it to the ground plane, the mesh might be too large for the texture image.  But without seeing a screencap of the set up, it is hard to judge.  Create a primitive flat plane and apply the image to that.

Hi hborre, Thanks for the advice. I tried that but same problem. It doesnt load if I click on it directly in the library window, if I load it in materials room it loads the image but instead of one color like you can see it advertised in the product it is the color I want and then either half black and half white. I have tried to contact daz support but they no longer help over the phone without going through a ticketing system first so it will be days before I even get my first response from them as they would only take my email address yesterday and now its the weekend. :-( Might just get my money back. Thanks for the help though. H.

I can't tell from the screenshot what lights you're using, but to me it looks like one of the lights could be a point light and a high specular setting is wiping out the color.  I could be wrong, but one of the lights in the lighting indicator seems to be in the right place for this to happen.
