I'm working on a sort of study... would like some opinions on it before I finish up and put it on my page. Please, suggestions are appreciated. I need all the help I can get. =)

Oops! forgot to mention... About half the objects came from the Props guild. Brick texture came from free stuff.

That is pretty impressive. Like the oil lamps in particular, especially the way you've used them to light the scene. The only thing I would say is that the walls are blank, you need (IMHO) something to break them up a bit - especially in the right-hand side of the picture. You might like to add something above the table to help a bit. Paul

Ok... what do you think would be better to add to the wall? A painting or a mirror? Or something else?

That depends :) Is there anything for the mirror to reflect? (Is your scene a closed, 4-wall box or an open 2-wall construct?) If there is something there then a mirror could be used - although it will add to your render time. Otherwise a painting. And remember, this is only my opinion - you may feel that the picture is too fussy if you add something to the wall. Paul

No, it does need something. I considered adding something earlier, but never got around to it. Since it's empty space on the other side, it's gotta be a painting. Thanks, I hadn't thought of that... Just curious, does anyone else ever have the feeling Bryce has a mind of its own? It's always moving, resizing, or rotating things on me... If you'll notice the second shelf of books, they're levitating a little bit above the shelf.. I didn't notice bryce had done that until after I rendered, and I wasn't about to rerender it until I had something more important to change.
