Subject: Silo/Poser8/V4 issue

I am working with one of Fugazi1968's tutorials. He starts by pulling V4 into Silo. I cannot locate V4 with Silo. I was able to get her in Carrara, but it was too hard to follow along with that program.

Can anyone tell me how to get V4 into Silo 2.2? I really want to work through this tutorial, and learn Silo better! On PC.

import the V4 .obj from the geometries folder::---

runtime/geometries/DAZPeople/blMilWom_v4b.obj

Once you have V4 in Silo, then save the file.

That way you can load up V4 without having to import her.

File menu at the top of the screen.

Select the Save Scene option.

Give it a name and a location to save to etc.

It would be nice to see the Poser figures used more in tutorials and merchandise. Even Poser stuff seems to use V4 and M4. Poser now has two new models, but they are for Poser 9 and above, like V5 and M5. It will be interesting to see how they compare...

Just to clarify, M5 and V5 are DAZStudio, not Poser compliant.  Importation to Poser is only possible through the DSON plugin, and I am not aware of any user attempting to transfer a V5/M5 model from Poser to Silo.
