Subject: OT- Just a thought

Answering a nother thread brought this topic to mind. Something I've always wondered about. Why is it that women get so upset when men look at a naked girl in a magazine or look at a porn video, but almost every woman in the world has a drawer full of sex toys, and nobody bats an eye.

I don't get it.

Women want their men to be exclusive!  Especially if there's a possibility of children!

Why don't you look into the history of those 'toys' to get a better insight as to their creation.  Back then, it was a medical condition treated by doctors.

Simple: a lot of women are jealous and envious.

  • A lot of porn stars have big (often fake) boobs.
  • Most porn stars and girls who display themselves have nice long hair.
  • Some, not all, porn stars are rather attractive .
  • All of the above make a number of women feel unattrative or inferior or feel like they are competing against a high standard.  Women can be very competitive with each other and get nasty about it.
  • Add in to the mix, seeing their guy checking out a clothed woman's boobs while you are out and about is enough to piss some women off.
  • Of course you also have the hypocrits who'll reread the trashy parts of 50 shades of gray then get angry at men who do the partake in the same sort of thing but in a more audio-visual manner.

Of all the things I listed, I think it's the competition thing they are most afraid of or getting worked up over.

PS.  Don't forget the shower heads with "massage" functions in addition to toys.

WARK!

Based on comments at a different forum, women in the current younger generation may not have the same hangups about such things.  Or less so.  Or possibly there are just more open-minded women at this other board.  Umm.  At any rate, it was suggested that many females, as well as males, in this younger group are very open about appreciating porn.  The conclusion, correct or not, was that growing up with the internet had resulted in changes in outlook.

I do know that both my brother and father have had relationship tensions relating to the sort of scenario presented in the OP.   My father claims something weird happened with the computer and suddenly there was porn, and then his third wife walked in and her head exploded.   Could be true, I guess.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
