Snow brushes from carocha on deviantart <-- worth downloading the .abr IMO...!

A little delayed as I worked on the background for wayyy too long as usual it seems (there's all sorts of mountains painted in there - which promptly disappeared in the snow effect so it was all for nothing...sigh) but here ya go!

...but only the first 3 lines will appear in the comment section underneath the picture. Tried to edit, didn't have any effect. Deleted the picture and reuploaded - same problem...

Hi Sean,

just a guess: Could it be, that the Rosity site editor misinterprets the less-than character in your "<-- arrow" as opening html/xml code part??

Try to post that text again, but without that "lower-than" character. Just for a quick test.

I would go with Hubert's suggestion..that does sound like the editor is taking that arrow as an opening line of HTML.

Try it without and let me know if it clears up.

Thanks!

Yeah, "<--" is HTML for "Please ignore this, Mr Browser. I'm just posting a note for myself in the HTML code, probably to help me find this location later or to tag it in the text editor so I'll know where this part of the web page is located".  Everything after <-- is ignored and not posted on the page. It's closed with "-->" at the end which tells the browser, "Okay, I'm done. Go on about your business" :)
