Hi,

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?  And better yet, how to fix it?

Thanks!

off hand, the only time I have seen this is when you have two identical items in the same place.  With v4 rendering properly that is what I would check.

I am using the square primitive prop for the walls and the floor, there is only one of each object.  Is there a bug or something using the square?

Agreed. Either that, or it's double sided or the thickness of the walls is too thin.

add a slight displacement to the textures. that will fix it.

That would fit, the square primitive is double sided.  try with the single sided square.

no textures applied

left is double sided square, right is single sided square

also, the displacement thing should work also, addes .01 inch displacement and problem went away

Yep, it was the squares.  I had to use boxes, that fixed the problem.  Thanks!

the single sided square should work. The primitive box may make textures more complicated.
