Subject: Saving A Character

Hey all and hope you’re enjoying the weather were you are.

Ok my question is this.

I have opened up Poser, pulled in V4, gave her all the morphs I wanted, and have a figure that I’ve used in a render already.

Now I want to save the figure with all the morphing I’ve done so that I can use her in other scenes.

Is this possible and if so can someone tell me how to save so that I can use her again and again?

Thanks much

Steel

Yep, just save the character back to the Figures library and give it a useful name such as Steeleyes Morphed V4, or something.  If the figure is clothed, Poser will give you the option of saving clothes and accessories along with the figure.

Hi

Just to be safe, you may also want to just save the character to a folder as a .PZ3 file.

It will retain all your settings and be available should something happen to you Poser install.

If you have applied custom textures or props put them in the same folder and you will always be able to resurrect you character even years later.

If you shoot a mime, do you need a silencer?

If I make a character I really like I memorize it before saving back to my runtime. That way if for any reason I should have to do a figure restore it'll restore it back to that character ;).
