This is a blow.  Any idea why, Costa?

kgb224 ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2013 at 9:41 AM

That is sad.

This is a huge loss.

She is such a talented artist.

I enjoyed her work.

God Bless.

I don't know why I just notice,

she was so active here.....

I deleted my gallery as well last year August, the reason you can read in my Bio

Maybe she'll explain it or maybe not...its up to her.......I think many members did not expect this

I had no idea when I joined this community there were certain standards for photography uploaded. Perhaps we need an upstanding individual to decide yes or no when a picture is uploaded. Silly me, I thought it was a site to upload photos and enjoy other peoples photos.

costapanos ( ) posted Mon, 25 February 2013 at 7:52 PM

I just wanted to share this from PK.

"I am developing a new business plan that I hope to have put in place by this time next year where I can expand my art as well as other photographers and actually profit and make contact with the buying public.

You may also join me on FB (Peggy McFarland) and message me there if you wish to stay in touch."

Thank you Costa. I'm not totally surprised given the pressures she was under.

Sorry to read this as well,  she was very active at this site and will be missed.   Best of luck to you

Wishing her Good Luck...  Aloha

She is my friend also on FB but  I did not know that is PK.   That woman said some word to me years ago a construtive criticism at the time which proved to be  one of the most constructive thoughts to enter my work and a positive influence in all I do now.  I wish her the very best and God Bless.   This is for you, Mrs. Lubner.     Thomas H.

Hi PK

In the first place I wish you good luck, and a good start with your new goal in your life. I read a lot in this topic, and was not sure to post this, but now I do.
I am just wondering that's all.

What I do not understand is that Costa should leave a message for us.....was that so hard for you to do then? You have spend a lot of time and invested a lot energy in this website during your MOD job. You are a beloved person and have many friends here I think that more members will wonder why you don't left a message by yourself
You will certainly have a good reason, and maybe none of my business...but this is not you......I find it strange,
I'm just being honest

Maybe this topic will be closed now after this post......or I get a warning....but this is also a forum for thoughts to express
Again I wish you all the best and hope you will earn money with your art.

Greetz Ilona

MrsLubner just suffered the loss of someone very close to her. I could see why that may lead to her making some changes in her life - even deleting the an account on a website.

I wish people could choose to leave without deleting their work. MrsLubner and I joined Renderosity about the same time way back in 2003... While I haven't been able to post photos as often as I'd like, it  always is fun to go back and look at old photos down some memory lanes such as PK's... There was an artist I really liked named Amberlite that one day boom was deleted and now PK's which is a huge shock as she was SOOOOOO active....Bummer...Miss you MrsLubner!!

TwoPynts ( ) posted Tue, 13 August 2013 at 8:11 PM

Thanks wonderworld. I agree that it would be nice if folks could leave their galleries intact, but there are always reasons behind why people may delete them.

Hi there Kort. I suppose they may  have their reasons but I myself could never delete 10 years of photos memories and comments from people some of whom are now themselves are a memory....Many of my photos are no longer even in my files. My gallery is kinda like a scrapbook of my last ten years. BTW do you happen to know what Morningglory is referring to in  her above post? She also has deleted her gallery. Geez.......
