isn't she adorable? Don't know about the hair though? Sorry

I would think maybe the updo with some post-work? Marque

That looks painted to me. Although, I can see using the updo as a starting point....

Wow, that's great hair...I hope someone can shed some light on it where it came from...:>) That looks like a Poser figure, have you asked the author?

The image is from the ad page at Daz for the MKGirls. It was in the pop-up for anyone who wanted to see samples prior to buying the poser figures. Since today is Sunday, I knew if I wrote to them I would not get a reply today, so I thought that maybe someone here might know. I will try writing tomorrow, and post if they let me know anything. Thanks for your replys everyone. genny

It was done in post work

Something to try - select a hair-prop in a scene. type HAIR on the keyboard. Treemaker popup appears. Play with the settings. Apply. Repeat as desired. Post a render of the results if it works.(Treemaker doesn't seem to work in my computer, or I'd do it & post a pic, but I've read posts by some who report interresting results.) Good Luck!

Treemaker doesn't work in my computer either, not when I render anyway. Sharen

I thought maybe it was one of Rena's. It looks sort of like her work. Whatever, it's a very cute image. Melanie

Two things... the hair is postwork, I forget who did the pictures for the MilGirls, but he/she/it posted them here a few days before the girls were released, and said that, that particular hair style was done... I THINK in paintshop pro... something about a "nervous" brush, or something like that... Treemaker - it won't render straight out of Poser, you can get a utility from Masa's site - http://www.eurus.dti.ne.jp/%7Emasasi/ - to make a renderable .obj file out of it.

lalverson ( ) posted Sun, 16 September 2001 at 6:07 PM

Correct Cin-, but if you export the new prop then import it it can be rendered, and the masa application will work it in one step.

whitemexican ( ) posted Sun, 16 September 2001 at 6:20 PM

I'm am planning on making a hair style similar to that for my hair pack. It will be one of the harder styles to make but I'm trying to make ones that aren't available and are in need.

rain ( ) posted Sun, 16 September 2001 at 7:34 PM

It's done using the nervous brush in Painter.

Dizzie ( ) posted Sun, 16 September 2001 at 9:39 PM

I'm looking at Painter and I can't find a "nervous" brush...whee is it

Dizzie ( ) posted Sun, 16 September 2001 at 9:45 PM

ahhh, ok, I found the nervous pen...that looks like it...Thanks!

rain ( ) posted Sun, 16 September 2001 at 11:57 PM

Glad you found it :-) It is the nervous pen and it takes a bit of work to get the hang of it but you can do pretty decent hair once you do.
