Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 11:02 am)
The .pcf (or Poser Coded File) is the difference file betwwen the original geometry .obj and the new one (the one to apply to the character you downloaded). The geometries belong to Zygote and no one is allowed to sell them or give them for free. Mover enables distributing Zygote or other modifyed geometries, the reason is you need the original to decode the modifyed one. How to proceed: 1/ Click the 'decode' radio button 2/ Click the 'difference file' button and pick the .pcf This fills the figure file area with the name of the new geometry and the 'original seed file' area with the name of the ... well, original seed file ;)) 3/ You need to pick this original file from its location -generally - PoserRuntimeGeometries.obj 4/ One done the convert button enables and click on it to convert It should work, no way it doesn't except you didn't pick the right original seed file.
