Subject: vue stones polygon count dependant on size?

does any one know if the polygon count of vue 10 stones remain the same regardles of size for example very high poly count for stone say 300,000 but reduced in size to say gravel would it still be 300,000 ?

Size is irrelevant in this case, the number of polygons would be the same, only the polygons themselves would be smaller.

Ah thats what I was begining to think , however now found some nice eco pebbles that will do the same job
