Once again it’s April 2, 4-2 as it’s written here in America, so that means it’s time for the perfect follow up to April Fools Day: 42 Day, where we celebrate the meaning of life, the universe and everything.

So what is 42 Day?

Well, someone once asked what is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.  After a while of thinking about it, someone came to the conclusion that it was 42.  Why 42?  Well, 42 Day is when Murphy’s Law really has a chance to shine.  I mean there’s nothing saying 42 can’t be the meaning of life, the universe, and everything, now is there?  Nope.  

So then the question was blamed as being not good enough.

One thing in real life that happens is when one thing gets screwed up, that original screw up tends to get compounded.  In this case, they decided that the question of life, the universe, and everything was supposed to be what do you get when you multiply six times nine.

Yes, multiplying six by nine is supposed to give you forty-two.

So when you think that forty-two is the answer to the meaning of life, the universe, and everything, and you think the question involves something that doesn’t equal forty-two, I figured it’s pretty obvious we need a day to remember how screwed up life can be at times.  Think of today as the day we realize that life pulled the best April Fool’s prank, but it doesn’t keep it to one day a year to do it.

So what was the real meaning of life, the universe, and everything supposed to be?

That’s simple, it was supposed to be tea for two.  Think about it like this, you can write it out as T 4 2.  If you say it aloud, saying 42 sounds like 4 T 2.  So the real screw up occurred when someone accidentally switched the order of the T with the 4.  One little screw up, a whole lot of consequences.

Wark wark.

Ummm.... 6x9=45. 6x7=42.

But anyway, Happy 42 day either way.

6X9=42... that's why we are having a 42 day.

You made me break out my calculator. We are both a little fuzzy. Me, probably because it's 8am where I am at, and I haven't had my coffee.

6x9=54.... lol!

And yeah, 6x9=42 today.... :biggrin:

Not saying it's anyone else's but My meaning of life is to be one of the best Artist.

So when I stand before Crystal, the Goddess of Art.She'll consider me worthy.

And here I thought the meaning of life was the number 23 ;).
