Is there any other programs, besides studiomax, lightwave or any other program were I don't have to sell my right kidney to own, that properly imports victoria hair transparancies and eyes? Are there any 3rd party pluggins to do it!

The eyes map correctly only they appear white because there is an outter material that needs to be set to transparent. Once that is done you can see the eyes mapped. There's the Pro Pack from Curious Labs for Lightwave and Max and Poser translators for Max, Bryce and Truespace from Konan: http://innuendo.ev.ca/main.htm -JH.

The transparencies actually look better (to my eye) in Bryce, but people will probably hurt me for suggesting it. You have to export an OBJ file, and import it into Bryce, then apply the materials again--annoying, but they work better, if anything, as Bryce has a real live rendering engine. You can look at my Three Graces WIP and finished versions to see the Victoria UpDo working, there. Alas, still no plugins for Bryce, but it's fairy consumer-level and not so very difficult to manage.
