arg!

I have the easy environment from DAZ. A rather nice set.
it notes(obviously) if you turn the environment you should turn the lights etc...no problem.

BUT I went to do the obvious thing which is to parent the lights to the environment cube...and it wont allow it.
o.0
so I though "no prob, Ill put in a sphere and parent them to that and poof"...nope.
wont allow it.

what I cant figure out is WHY it wont allow it. I have done this before with lights for ease of moving them ALL at one time but...none of the lights with this set will allow me to do it. >.<!!!!!

any idea how to fix that?
