Subject: Coupon for Participation in Daz's Customer Survey

basicwiz ( ) posted Sat, 11 May 2013 at 7:43 AM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 1:57 PM

Has anyone else had trouble redeeming this coupon? Mine gets rejected. Is there a trick to making it go through?

All responders: Please answer my question. Do not take this post as an opportunity to "Daz-Bash."

It is good to know someone actually got theirs.  I never got mine.

RHaseltine ( ) posted Sat, 11 May 2013 at 8:22 AM

The message at the end of the survey said it would be sent in the next few days. basicwiz, I'm assuming the coupon will be tied to your account so make sure you are using the right account when you try to purchase, if you have more than one.

This might sound like a stupid question, but what survey from Daz?  Is it still available and where might one participate?

Not surprised I wasn't invited either.... but I am surprised they invited a Rendo Mod :tongue1: If they do that, they may as well invite us too

Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

Do people still bash Daz?  You'd think in the year 2014 we'd be past that!

Seriously, I wish Daz the best of luck/good fortune with all of their programs.  I'm 110% on board with the new version of Poser, but Daz finally getting Carrara right in a way that also works with Poser would give me (at the least) an alternate renderer, particles, and convenient paint/sculpt tools.

For those having trouble redeeming their code a friend on another site had issues as well. It appears that the wording on the cupoun leads one to believe it can be used on anything. It cannot It can only be redeamed on DAZ own originals only. HTH

I totally agree.

There will always be people who will bash Daz in the same way others do with other companies.  Those who were really upset with Daz, the Daz site or what they were doing voted with their wallet or purse and shopped elsewhere.

Completeing the survey would have been interesting as I was one who has stopped buying there but I suppose you could take a different view and say as I don't shop there I should not have an input.

I am not sure if Poser 2014 will change matters yet again as it may influnce the use of the Genesis figure.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 -  Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB  storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU .   The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Going back and re-reading the email verifies this. Thanks for your sharp eyes!

Issue resolved.
