Subject: Script to Set All Material Quality to Crisp?

Nyghtfall ( ) posted Mon, 13 May 2013 at 4:44 PM · edited Tue, 07 January 2025 at 2:39 AM

I once had a script that would automatically set the quality of image maps for every material in my scenes to Crisp.  Does anyone remember what it's called, and where I'll find it again?  I sorely miss it.

Snarlygribbly's Scenefixer will do this. Amongst other things.

Oh, you said automatic.. Sorry won't do it automatically.  Please ignore me.

Excellent.  Thanks.

By automatic, I meant it will adjust every material setting at once after I tell it to, so this will be perfect.

Thanks again.

I have one from someone called Cspear, I don't have a link but I'm convinced that I found it here in an older thread. It will set every texture to Crisp in a single click, which is exactly what you're looking for.

Content Advisory! This message contains profanity

I never knew this -I've had Snarly's script for about a year.  I've spent hours laboriously going through the material room, setting that bloody texture filter to "crisp" by hand, for every damn node, on every picture I've rendered for months now.  Hurrah for the Snarly one!

My self-build system - Vista 64 on a Kingston 240GB SSD, Asus P5Q Pro MB, Quad 6600 CPU, 8 Gb Geil Black Dragon Ram, CoolerMaster HAF932 full tower chassis, EVGA Geforce GTX 750Ti Superclocked 2 Gb, Coolermaster V8 CPU aircooler, Enermax 600W Modular PSU, 240Gb SSD, 2Tb HDD storage, 28" LCD monitor, and more red LEDs than a grown man really needs.....I built it in 2008 and can't afford a new one, yet.....!

My Software - Poser Pro 2012, Photoshop, Bryce 6 and Borderlands......"Catch a  r--i---d-----e-----!"

I really can't claim credit for the script, I adapted someone else's that did something similar. Here it is if anyone wants it (take off the ".txt" extension); I have to say that Snarly's scene fixer is a much better tool.
