What is the gamma value of your window computer? When I bought computer, the original value was 1.0. The picture strongly depends on the value. What value do you use to see pictures?

Most Windows PC's have an uncorrected gamma value of 2.5. For the web, you are safer working at a gamma value of 2.2, although I myself, work at a gamma setting of 1.8 for all my work, which is the print standard. To find out if your computer is correctly set up, check out the many sites that are about on the net that contain gamma tests. I also have a cheap and quick test at my website ;) http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.childs/gamma_test.htm Cheers

Thanks Himico...I'm glad I could help :) Thanks Prodag, I did not have any links handy at the time, but Display Mate is certainly one of the best. Cheers
