Get pictures for subsequent models though, they will not mind you taking snapshots in the OR.

Thanks for the kind words folks, pleased to say surgery went OK, still a tad painfull but not too bad. More annoying is the side effects of the pain-relief, tired, dizzy and it's screwed up the perspective vision, which isn't good for a 3d modeller! Or typing, so if anyone is waiting on a email, please bear with me. I'm replying to stuff in turn which is taking around a day at the moment. As for other stuff like freebies or joint projects, it's probably gonna be another week or so. Also when I get back is anyone interested in doing a simple rigging job on a freebie ?

Thanks all! As a few folks are asking about things, heres a quick update. Firstly a massive thanks to those folks who've been able to support things with a purchase. For most content creators theres no sick pay or insurances and I know it's tight for everyone right now, so it's appreciated. Also contrary to some questions theres also no plans to close down or stop producing content. Nor, as some have asked, if this continues long term will any products be released as freebies. It's been going as well as expected, though as the happy stuff turns human brains into mush, they'll be no freebie this week. Unfortunately had another trip back to the menders today, meaning there might not be anything for another few weeks. But I can say for certain I'll be like a furry Arnie and will be back as soon as possible :)

Just a quick pop in to say hello and thanks to everyone for showing support, pleased to say things are progressing well. While not as quick as hoped, and not back to 100% yet now mostly off the heavy duty happy stuff, meaning I can say confirm work on a new freebie is going well. It's gonna be a tad slower than normal. Plus theres gonna be some freebie changes in future as well. For roughly the last 2 years theres been a freebie nearly every week. At the same time I've been working 2-3 jobs a week including big museum like projects. Basically shattered and why this is taking longer to recover. Equally I feel the poser community has changed quite a lot in that time, sadly not always for the good. Most importantly I think it's affected the bigger and more important picture, of all of us being 3d artists. Which I hate to say about a hobby I love, support and especially how thats impacted all the brilliant creative and talented people in our community. But personally I feel theres a need to get that some of that old balance back. Thats why I think ideas like Steve Knodris's hivewire will help. From this end a slight twist in focus, there won't be freebie automatically every week from now, instead they'll be every 2-3 weeks maybe monthly. Though they will have the same quirkiness and quality. Plus you'll see a few more affordable things, more joint projects and work on other arty projects.

Good decisions, mate.  You need to look after yerself first of all.

Stay well and stay happy.  Any freebies you may make in the future are a bonus for us, not a right.

Indeedy, reckon if they are at home moaning about the stuff all the great freebies make, the local Badger population will be safe for a few hours :) And talking of freebies...
