obviously each view, both external and internal must have a panorama

first set of questions:

1 i should use in exterior views the BB sphere with a equirectangular image?
2 in interior views, the view out the windows should use the BB sphere or a flat landscape?

honestly this kind of problem stops me doing a lot of scene.

You can use either solution in either case.

If you put the image on BB's dome, it will work equally well for both interior-looking-out and exterior scenes. My issue with this solution is the difficulty in getting suitable pictures to apply to the dome. They never look quite high enough res to suit me. I use the dome as a lighting solution, not as a background, but that's me.

If you put the image on a flat and scale it up to "actual" size, you may have to move it around  so it's at the right place, but it will still work. BTW... save yourself a lot of grief if you use the flat option... plug it into the "alternate diffuse" node in the material room to avoid having to worry about lighting it.

One trick I found with bb's sphere is you can scale the sphere down a whole lot and it will help with making the bachground look clearer. I think I've done as small as 14% before the image starts to distort due to the curve of the sphere. Of course the larger the image, the better. Also, if you use the sphere and gamaa correct in render settings, turn the sphere gamma to one

Not always, however, the scene allows you to have this kind of view.

If the window (or door) is not a straight wall, the problems begin with the background.

what do in this case to have a right background ?

we have a corner window and the room is located on the second floor of a villa, then there is the problem that the landscape must include possibly even the lower side....

since I have no solution to this problem, usually I avoid this type of render ....

but I do not like it

These are cases where a sphere would be better. There are others if bb's doesn't agree with you. Or you use 2 planes and make a corner background.

In the case of your windows-with-a-corner I'd go with either a shpere or a U-shaped (flatter than a U of course) panorama background. Sort of like the cyclorama.

Go to Daz and type "multiplane cyclorama" into the search window.

And I believe cyclorama scenes are included as legacy content in Poser.

Wait, they are microcosm files , not cyclorama.  But a skydome is part of the package.

BB offers three types of domes: skydome, hemisphere and 360 dome, or global dome.  You can use equirectangular, HDRI, and some panoramic images on the skydomes and hemisphere; a 360 panoramic and HDRI images will work with the global dome.  Many sites,like Flickr, will have tons of images, you just need to be sure that restictions do not hamper the ability to use.

HDRLabs One of the becollections of free HDRI images. IIRC, most sets come with separate plates for illumination, background and reflection. Created for use with the "Smart IBL" system but the images work with any program.
