Maybe some one can help me out...

I am looking for a set of props or poses for M4 with which i can chain him or bound him to wether its a roof or a wall...or to whatever...as long as he is chained by his arms or his feet...

I think trekkiegrlll had a free chain that would work.  poseable chain in freestuff. There is also a chainplate and a 10 foot chain by bionicRooster.

In addidtion to that, Cage has some scripts which generate chains on the fly. 

Normally, Phantom3S hosts them, but at the moment they don't seem to be available.

Maybe you can send Cage a site mail, they are quite good.

Hey, SheeDee.  Bantha alerted me to this thread.  If you send me a PM with an e-mail address, I can send you any scripts you need.  Phantom3D has been hosting my web pages, but his server has been up and down for the past year.  I keep hoping he'll come back, as his is a welcome voice in the Poser community, but the server has been down for some time now.  :sad:

I need to take a look at your looper script :) I downloaded it a long time ago, but I think it was before it could do chains, too?

Other than that, yes I do have a poseable chain in free stuff (two actually - but one of them looks more or less as the ones in your pic. Perhaps you could use just the bits of mine (make the unnecessary parts invisible) and then use cage's chain script? Or does the script do manacles, too? :)

Hm I ssee there's no manacle on that one btw.. I'd forgotten. There's one on my other chain.. but that one doesn't have the attachment bit... guess I should make a new one one of these days...

I will be needing this loop script. Please update them. I got a hero about to rescue a damsel in distress and I need something to bind her hands and legs.

If you don't mind shopping at Renderotica, a google search says they have some chained prop/pose sets. Most are probably for V4 as the chainee but probably would work for M4 as well. Due to the subject matter, viewer discretion is advised, NSFW etc.

The script doesn't create manacles, no.  I had a simple manacle I built in Wings3D, which I may have included in one of the example files somewhere in the loop thread, but the script doesn't handle that part of the process.  It also can't create chain links which twist along their length axis, so it does have definite limitations.  Not the solution in every situation, by any means.

I am testing the upload size limit, with an attachment... and it looks like it works.  The attached zip-as-text file contains all of the loop scripts, as well as the html for the web page.  These are the current versions right now, but I won't be able to update the scripts in this attachment.

This set looks close if it will work without the main product.

Renderotica is pretty suspect when it comes to placing orders. Just had my credit information compromised after buying something from them today.

Good to know. Mine was compromised when the credit card freaking company was breached. No place safe out there these days.

Its sad to here that about Rotica, I never had any problems when Diane was running it. Now I get a new site that doesnt let me login.

There was a free set of ropes for v3 that can be adjusted for other characters. I would try sharecg for ropes.

I discovered yesterday that the breach was not Renderotica at all. So it's a false alarm.

They have a strange (and nearly fear inducing) way of providing you your purchased downloads,  but beyond that, they seem fine. Using a prepaid card for purchasing is probably still preferrable to be on the safe side.
